Labor and Employment Associate, Junior-Level – Client has an opening for a labor and employment associate to join its growing employment practice group in New York. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years’ experience in both employment-related litigation and transactional employment work. Such experience includes handling discrimination cases, wage and hour class actions and contract disputes in federal and state court and/or before administrative agencies such as the Department of Labor and humans rights agencies. Transactional work includes: advice and counseling; wage and hour audits; federal and state employment law research and analysis of complex issues; and preparation of employment-related documents, such as employment and severance agreements, workplace policies and procedures, leaves of absence forms and letters, and employee communications. Traditional labor law and experience conducting employment training is also desired. Candidate must be able to juggle multiple assignments, be strategic and detail oriented, have a high sense of urgency and have the ability to prioritize. Private Client Services Mid-Senior Associate – Client has an opening in its New York office for an associate to join its growing Private Client Services Practice Group. Ideal candidate should have at least 7 (or more) years of law firm experience in trust and estates and experience working with high net worth individuals. Strong drafting and estate administration skills required, including experience drafting complex wills and trusts, preparation of client presentations, tax calculations and analysis and administration of estates from probate through closing. AmLaw 100 Client’s Energy practice group is seeking an associate in either its Atlanta or Washington, D.C. office with a focus on energy transactional work related to renewable energy, storage, transmission and infrastructure and other areas related to the power industry.
